Here are two websites that I helped construct, from page layouts to copywriting.
On the two following websites, I was a part of the project from the beginning. I would begin the project by working with the client to understand their tone, brand guidelines, audience, and goals. Then I’d create a customer journey for the website, prioritizing the clients’ established goals and the needs of the audience. This informed our designers’ choices when mocking up the site. I would then provide a content map, laying out where the copy should push the customer forward alongside the design.
After the designer and I had completed a mockup, complete with their design choices and my copy, it would be handed off to a developer to create the site. And so while I have been a part of many website builds, I am not the one developing or designing the site – but I am assisting in the architecture and of course the written content.
Data Activation Center was an exciting client that allowed me to utilize my research skills. They are a small but quickly growing data company that focuses on affordable prices for businesses utilizing machine-to-machine equipment. It was a challenging project since I was unfamiliar with the subject matter. But this pushed me to do intensive research to ensure that DAC came off as the industry leader they are. We decided on a layout that highlighted the fields they work in, what sets them apart, and their unparalleled customer service. Please visit dataactivationcenter.com to see the entire build.
Dart Zone was a fun project, not only because they sent some of their blasters for us to test! A competitor to NERF, Dart Zone wanted an active website to reflect their fast-paced hobby. We created a tactical site with animation and copy that amps up the customer. The visually appealing, informative website we produced brought attention to their growing community and made navigation easy for long-time hobbyists and newcomers alike. Head over to dartzoneblasters.com to check out my work.
